Album Info:While I did not get a ton of time to get photos like I wanted, I used what I had. Fortunately, timing was right that the only remaining Wisconsin Central GP was on Presidents island. With that in mind, a well known rail fan in the area had his cookout at the unofficial rail fan platform which was fun but rather hot. We were not in Memphis specifically for trains but it was nice to see what we did.

Description:  As the evening rolls on, I check out KCSs Artesia yard and see some geeps and a job working. With shadows in the way, shooting anything was difficult. HEre, KCS 2966 sits with others the yards service facility.

Description:  KCS 2912, 2841 and 2904 work to build the Saltillo turn for Tupelo and Corinth. With shadows building, i gave up and went to my buddies for the night. Memphis bound the next morning!

Description:  The train crew was working to rerail a derailed tanker at Presidents island. Nobody knew this actually happened and when we told the folks at the cookout, seemingly sounded surprised. LOL!

Title:  CN Junction.
Description:  One of the busiest hot spots in Memphis, Terry Redeker- a friend and long time rail fan of the Memphis area was hosting a railfan cookout at the "unofficial" hangout. The interlocking see a plethora of around 40-50 or more trains per day including Amtrak, CN, UP, NS and BNSF trains. This train is proceeding west towards West Memphis, Arkansas and other points.
